The University is a research university in Essex, England. The university was formed in 1963, received students in 1964 and obtained university status by royal charter in 1965.

  • These University of Essex African Scholarships can be awarded to applicants who have completed related school or university studies in specific countries.
  • Scholars must have received an undergraduate degree with the specified grade.
  • Only eligible applicants must be available for promotional activities.
  • Eligible courses start in October 2022 and January 2023 and are full-time taught Masters leading to Masters, Masters, LLM, MFA and MRes.

 

It should be noted that students who have firmly accepted a place offer by September 16, 2022 (for early October 2022) or January 6, 2023 (for early January 2023) and have fulfilled the academic admission conditions , will be considered for these scholarships. Only one scholarship award can be awarded per student and the award cannot be held in conjunction with any other scholarship at the University of Essex in the UK.

The University of Essex African Scholarships are only available for the first year of Master’s study.
